A Steady Place to Begin
I work with individuals looking to create meaningful change in their lives and relationships. While that is a simple statement, the work itself is often complex, much like the people I work with.
Many of my clients are deeply capable individuals carrying significant responsibility across their professional and personal lives. From the outside, things may appear steady. Internally, there is often much more happening beneath the surface.
People often reach out during periods of transition, increasing responsibility, burnout, illness, grief, relationship strain, or crisis when it becomes more difficult to see a clear path forward or maintain what once felt manageable. This may show up as uncertainty, pressure, emotional exhaustion, performance anxiety, or a growing sense that the strategies that once worked are no longer enough.
Whether therapy is new to you or you are looking for a different approach, there is space for you here. Our work together will be practical, straightforward, grounded, and focused on creating meaningful change beyond the therapy room.
The Meaning Behind Meadowbrook
Meadowbrook Place is the street where I grew up and where my parents built our family home. It is a place that has long represented stability, steadiness, refuge, and connection, particularly during periods of change.
I am originally from British Columbia, Canada, where I founded Meadowbrook Counseling. Re-established nearly a decade later, Meadowbrook Counseling Services reflects nearly two decades of clinical work and a return to the values that shaped both the practice and the person behind it.
I believe meaningful change happens when people have a place where the difficult parts of life can surface and land safely.
The Approach
Brooke has a way of understanding what is happening quickly and identifying what may be keeping people stuck while responding in a way that is steady, direct, and attuned. Her work is change-focused, responsive, and grounded in meaningful action. Using Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), therapy remains aligned with client goals and desired outcomes over time.
She routinely works with professionals, caregivers, entrepreneurs, and other deeply capable individuals navigating complex lives, significant responsibility, and periods of transition.
A Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, Brooke brings nearly two decades of experience across clinical and high-stakes settings. Meadowbrook Counseling Services has an office in downtown Bellevue, WA. Sessions are available both virtually and in person, with flexibility based on client needs, location, and fit. Illinois clients are seen virtually.
